Hanbury Manor Wedding Videography | Amy and Jordan
Amy and Jordan’s Classic and Lovely Hanbury Manor Wedding Videography
I first met Amy and Jordan back when I did their engagement photos and video with their adorable dogs! Amy and Jordan then booked me for their Hanbury Manor Wedding Videography after I had filmed their friend's wedding, which was a lovely surprise. I was really looking forward to catching up with them again on their wedding day!

Getting Ready at Hanbury Manor
Hanbury Manor is a beautiful Jacobean house in the Hertfordshire countryside. It's really beautiful and I loved filming there.
I started the day with Amy and her bridal party. All of her friends were there, exchanging gifts and making sure the prosecco flowed. There was a lot of laughter, especially when the fizz was a bit too fizzy and sprayed all over the room.
At around midday, I went downstairs to meet Jordan and his groomsmen. They were all hanging out by the fireplace, and I took some beautifully classic footage of them there, opening their gifts.
Both Amy and Jordan were giddy with nerves all morning. It was really sweet.
Amy got her dress on and headed down to see her dad, looking absolutely beautiful. Amy's dad seeing her for the first time was a really lovely and emotional moment. Amy had, sadly, lost her mum and her and her dad was clearly really proud of her. They hugged hard and there were a few tears.
The Wedding Ceremony
Jordan waited nervously at the top of the aisle with his best man, while guests chatted. There was a chair reserved at the front for Amy's mum, to honour her memory. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as Amy walked in with her dad. The ceremony was simple but incredibly moving and full of love.
The Drinks Reception
Amy and Jordan exited their ceremony through a tunnel of confetti and bubbles. It looked amazing! Everyone then headed to the bar for drinks and canapes, as guests mingled and congratulated the happy couple. I always love capturing natural footage of this part of the day!
We then whisked Amy and Jordan away for their couple session. We all jumped in a golf buggy to whiz around the grounds. It was really fun, as we all held on for dear life! After the portraits, we headed back to the gardens for family photos.
I also got to catch up with my previous couple, which was absolutely lovely.
Dinner, Speeches, and Magic!
Everyone sat down for dinner and the wine was flowing. A three-course meal was served and the magician made his way around the tables, entertaining guests with tricks.
Amy's Dad kicked off the speeches and everyone cried, including me and the magician! It was very moving and emotional. After the rest of the speeches, and as the sun went down, Jordan and his groomsmen headed out to smoke celebratory cigars.
Classic Styling with Greys, Pinks, and Blues
The styling felt classic with touches of grey, pink and subtle blues. Tables were decorated with a beautiful array of florals by Vicki's Floral Designs, and guests enjoyed mini gin bottles as their favours. The cake was equally lovely and was also decorated with flowers. There was also a sweet table for guests to enjoy.
The First Dance and Party
The first dance was stunning and the song choice was perfect. Amy then danced with her dad and everyone cried again.
As soon as all of the guests hit the dancefloor, the party got really lively. There were dance-offs, enthusiastic dancing and a lot of amazing energy. The floor was packed from start to finish.
I had such a wonderful day with Amy and Jordan. If you're looking for a wedding videographer or photographer in Hertfordshire or Essex, I'd love to chat so get in touch.
