The Lodge Family In-Home Newborn Session In Essex

This beautiful family asked me to do their in-home newborn session. I was delighted and couldn’t wait! It was warm outside so we did a mixture of inside and outside. We started off with a feeding session, I love these as the bond is shown in the images.

The Session

We started off the session with a feeding session for the baby as he was hungry. This is something I always asked my clients. It's best if the baby is fed before or at the start of a session.

The family had a beautiful home and so we had the opportunity to use lots of different rooms during the session. My favourite was the bright hallway.

We also ventured into the study where Dad showed the baby his Nan’s photo who sadly had passed away.

The Garden

We went outside into the garden to take some photos of the rose tree. I love these so much as the colours look beautiful. The baby was in a special knitted blanket which made them extra special.

The parents loved this session as they were able to stay home and have their memories captured in their own comfort.
