We captured some unforgettable moments with a family photo shoot in Wanstead, London for the Hindle Family! Nestled amidst lush greenery and charming surroundings, Wanstead offers the perfect backdrop for your family portraits. From picturesque parks to quaint streets, every corner tells a story!

The family decided to arrange a photoshoot with me because they felt their children were growing up so quickly, and they wanted to capture precious moments in time through photographs. They have an older daughter and two twin girls, each with their own distinctive personalities. With the passing of time becoming increasingly evident, they were keen to preserve the unique bond they shared as a family. As they prepared for the session, they felt a mix of excitement and nostalgia, knowing that the photographs would immortalise moments of laughter, love, and togetherness that they could treasure for years to come.

The shoot starts 

The family opted for an in-home photoshoot to begin with, followed by a session in their local park to round off the experience. As autumn had arrived, the landscape was adorned with a rich tapestry of colours and textures, providing a picturesque backdrop for our photoshoot.

In the comfort of their own home, we captured intimate moments of family bonding and everyday life, surrounded by familiar surroundings and cherished possessions.

Taking a walk to the local park 

We then ventured into the park, the children gleefully played amongst the fallen leaves. Against this natural canvas of beauty, we captured candid moments of joy and spontaneity, celebrating the unique spirit of the season and the love shared within this close-knit family.

Being invited back for coffee and a chat 

After the shoot, they insisted I come back for a coffee and a chat, where we delved into all things postpartum and parenthood, creating a refreshing and genuine connection.

My approach is incredibly relaxed, natural, and fun, which was evident when the girls affectionately referred to me as "auntie" by the end of the shoot, highlighting the strong rapport we had built together.

The cornerstone of capturing unforgettable moments with families lies in maintaining a sense of fun and alleviating any pressure on the children. Understanding that not every moment needs a smile, I adopt a relaxed approach that allows the children to be themselves authentically. With a methodical checklist in hand for family photo shoots, we begin by photographing the children individually, ensuring we capture their unique personalities and fleeting expressions. By prioritising the children at the outset, we mitigate the risk of them becoming tired or overstimulated too quickly, allowing for a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all involved. This structured approach ensures that each member of the family feels valued and that we achieve a diverse range of shots that truly reflect the essence of their bond and connection.
